The Brotherhood

Born in Chicago with Argentine heritage, Lucas and Gabriel grew up between two cultures and fell for yerba mate on family visits throughout high school and college. It became their fuel for late study nights, long internship hours, and hard training sessions. Back in the States, they noticed the canned competition was cutting corners by relying on concentrated yerba extracts instead of brewed leaves, sacrificing authenticity for convenience. They knew it could be done better. ArgenTea is their answer: a premium yerba mate, made properly, for people who actually seek its benefits. 

Valentín & Fernando

The Ritual

Valentín was born in Rosario, Argentina, and Fernando in southern Brazil. They both grew up in Argentina, where mate isn't a trend but a daily ritual. They came to the University of Illinois to study industrial engineering, met Lucas and Gabriel, and recognized the same thing the brothers had: the U.S. deserved a better canned mate. They brought the real tradition north and the discipline to scale it while staying true to its roots.

Andrew

The Science

Andrew was born in New Jersey and studied food science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He started as the person who could make the formulation right and quickly became someone the team couldn't do without. Bringing him on full-time wasn't really a decision; he fit the culture from day one. He's the reason every can is as precise as it is authentic.
